- Within 14 days of receiving your claim, your employer’s WorkCover compensation insurer must notify you of their decision to accept, not accept or defer your claim
- If your claim is deferred, more information is needed for your work injury claim
7. Continuation of your work injury claim to finalisation or settlement
- As part of the process of your work injury claim, your employer or their workers’ compensation insurer may refer you to their doctor
